Palliative Care

Objectives

The goal of the project will be achieved through achievement of the following objectives:

The  Rural Palliative Care Project aims to build upon the successes of previous projects and to deliver enhanced access to palliative care services across the central west.

  • Enhancing common understandings of models of rural palliative care services; participating Divisions and key stakeholders’ including specialist palliative care services;
  • Strengthening links between palliative care and mainstream service delivery; and
  • Taking into account the broader consumer and community interests
