Palliative Care

Objectives

The goal of the project will be achieved through achievement of the following objectives:

The Rural Palliative Care Project aims to build upon the successes of previous projects and to deliver enhanced access to palliative care services across the central west.

Enhancing common understandings of models of rural palliative care services; participating Divisions and key stakeholders’ including specialist palliative care services;
Strengthening links between palliative care and mainstream service delivery; and
Taking into account the broader consumer and community interests
