Teleconference Program

To help overcome the challenges of rural distances, CWDGP offers a continuing professional development teleconference program for GPs, Practice Nurses and Practice Managers. Participants are able to access and actively participate in live lectures provided by local, state and national specialists/experts.

How Do I Participate in a Teleconference?

All you need to participate in a teleconference is a phone line. Teleconference participants simply return an event invitation to the Division with a preferred telephone contact number for the time of the teleconference. The Division will provide confirmation, an evaluation form and access to the teleconference presentation in advance of the event; participants simply need to be waiting by their nominated phone five minutes before the commencement time.

Teleconference Feedback

All participants are encouraged to submit teleconference evaluations to help the Division ensure a quality program. All feedback will remain confidential.

The RACGP Adverse Feedback Form should be completed if a GP is dissatisfied with the session and sent directly to the RACGP contact on the form.

Teleconference Recordings

All teleconference programs are recorded on CD. If you are unable to attend a teleconference of interest and would like a recording, please contact the Division.
