The Division supports the professional development of Practice Managers, administration and reception staff in general practice.
Practice Managers
The Division's Practice Manager program involves a centrally located annual workshop hosted for Practice Managers, administration and reception staff. In addition, the Division offers a limited teleconference program targeting Practice Managers, which is based on identified needs and current changes in the context of general practice. Information on educational initiatives, programs, and funding opportunities is disseminated to Practice Managers through an electronic network. Please contact the Division if you are a Central West General Practice Manager and wish to be included in this electronic distribution list.
Practice Staff
Administration and reception staff are encouraged to attend the Division's annual Practice Staff Workshop. This workshop is hosted in a central location and offers an opportunity for upskilling and professional/social networking. If you are working in a general practice and have a request for a specific education topic at future workshops, contact the Division.
