Practice Manager and Practice Staff Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The Division aims to support Practice Managers, administration and reception staff in general practice. 

CPR

The Division will be conducting its annual roll-out of CPR for general practice in February 2012. As with previous years, this training will be provided by Royal Life Saving Australia, and is a basic CPR course that meets the ARC accreditation guidelines. Please note that as we do not receive funding for this type of training, it is likely that this year will be the last that we are able to offer fully funded CPR training on an annual basis. However, the Division will explore different ways of supporting general practice access to training in the future.

Teleconference Program

The Practice Manager teleconference program is currently under review. Check back in mid-2012 for an update.

Information Network

Information on educational initiatives, programs, and funding opportunities is disseminated to Practice Managers through an electronic network. Please contact the Division if you are a Central West General Practice Manager and wish to be included in this electronic distribution list.
