Partnership Activities

CWDGP encourages a partnership approach to supporting general practice, and works with other Divisions, non-government organisations, educational institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and other health-related businesses to ensure access to quality and regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

CWDGP works with other organisations by:

• Delivering a CPD program in the Central West with the support of financial sponsors;
• Sharing ideas and experiences to strengthen program delivery;
• Maintaining a calendar of events in the Central West to support regional coordination and planning; and,
• Informing general practice of upcoming CPD events in the Central West delivered by external education providers.

Event Sponsorship

The Division's CPD program is kindly supported through corporate sponsorship. The Division ensures that promotional activities for events are kept separate from the educational component, and all events meet the quality standards of the RACGP. CWDGP maintains an internal calendar of Central West events that may impact on CPD and meeting planning. If you are planning an event in the Central West for primary care professionals, you are encouraged to contact the Division to check date availability.
