Ask and know your loved ones’ wishes
CWDGP will produce information stalls throughout the region to increase awareness of organ and tissue donation during DonateLife Week from 19-26 February. This project is being produced through funding from the Organ & Tissue Authority as part of the national DonateLife campaign.
With a theme of “Did you give your heart away on Valentine’s Day? What about the rest of your organs?”, CWDGP staff will launch a postcard campaign to encourage family members to discuss their organ donation wishes with their loved ones. Community members who complete a postcard will also go in the draw to win a ‘heart-warming’ holiday at Hayman Island valued at $4500.
Community members can participate in the project at the following locations and community events –

Sunday 19 February 2012 – Rankin Street, Forbes (outside Woolworths)
Monday 20 February 2012 – Metro Plaza, Parkes
